As the say though, 'you shouda seen it before'.
Now these changes are not enough to suggest you shouldn't make your way to Kingston, OK and play it. If you find the right side of the narrow fairway, though, your next shot may be a layup that leaves you 200 yds or so for your third because the landing area for a longer shot from the right will likely bound into trouble left due to the contours. The tee shot on this par five needs to find a narrow landing area. Number 14 is especially objectionable and not because it is challenging, which it is. The new holes (which play as numbers 14,15,16 and 17) are a downgrade in my opinion and seem a little out of sync with the rest of the course. My issue with that change is that the old numbers 4 and 6 were among the best holes on the course. To accommodate some sort of future real estate development, holes 4,5,6,and 7 were taken out of play and four new holes were built and follow the old 17th hole. It's still fun to play, but changes in the spring of 2016 were not positive to me. There was a time when it was among my top ten to play. It is almost always in great shape and is rarely crowded. I've played his course for more than a decade.
